Do You Wanna Go? — Our trip to the Edinburgh Fringe.
A few years ago, Do You Wanna Go started the way a lot of meaningful theatre does: with an artist and a story that helps define the human experience.
Written by David Nehls (Writer of The Great American Trailer Park Musical), Do You Wanna Go? is a deeply human, funny, and quietly lasting piece about connection and the moments that change us.
Sometimes, stories about journeys must themselves journey as well.
We are working toward taking Do You Wanna Go? to the Edinburgh Fringe, the largest and most important theatre festival in the world. For new and independent work, Fringe isn’t just a performance opportunity; it’s a launching pad. It’s where shows find producers, future runs, press attention, and their next chapter.
But Fringe is also expensive, especially for first-time artists trying to do it right.
This money will help cover:
- Festival registration and venue costs
- Travel for our creative team
- Housing during the run
- Marketing and promotional materials
- Technical and production expenses
Every dollar goes directly toward getting the show on its feet and in front of audiences who can help carry it forward.
Why This Matters (And Why Now)
We’re at a moment where momentum matters. Early support allows us to commit to the festival, secure space, and present the show at the level it deserves—rather than cutting corners or scaling back a story we believe in.
How You Can Help
By donating, you’re not just funding a trip; you’re truly becoming part of the journey.
Whether you’re able to give $10, $100, or more, you’re helping an independent artist take a risk, tell the truth, and put something honest into the world.
If you can’t donate, sharing this page helps more than you know.
Thank you so much for your time, your donations, and for supporting the arts.
