Journey to Bill Peet’s Brain Recovery

Donation protected
On February 24th 2019, Debbie was asking Billy what he wanted for breakfast when she heard him fall. He couldn’t feel his legs and his ticklish toes were no longer ticklish. Deb called 911 immediately where he was rushed to Baystate.

At Baystate, they determined Billy had a ruptured brain aneurysm and was beyond any care they could provide so they rushed him to Hartford hospital. The doctors there saved his life when performed the first of three surgeries.

That following week, Billy had made small improvements but took a turn for the worse when his brain began to swell. That’s when he underwent surgery number two. Again, they saved his life.

From that that point forward, Billy was in a coma, a third surgery,  living off a tracheotomy, and a GI tube until May. He has been at Gaylord in Wallingford making huge improvements ever since.

This go fund me page was created to help with the everyday expenses Debbie has been facing. His disability ends in two months, social security was denied and has to be appealed, and she has been traveling an hour each way to see “her Billy.”

Anything you can do to alleviate  the financial stress of one less income with a daughter in college for nursing  - would be appreciated.

For anyone who knows Billy, knows he is the greatest man in the world. A heart of gold and a love for life.

Thank you sincerely!

Love all Billy’s Friends & Family
