Anyone who knows Mike and Kristen has likely heard about their dream of becoming parents. From almost the first moment they met and began thinking about a future together, they knew they wanted to have a big family.
Unfortunately for Mike and Kristen conceiving a baby was not as easy as they imagined. They are facing the challenges of infertility and now must undergo, IVF (in vitro fertilization). It’s an incredible option to grow their family, but also an expensive process.
IVF is their best chance to conceive and they’ve been told, even with IVF, they have a very limited window of time. The physical, emotional and financial stress is tremendous, but they are both willing to do whatever it takes.
The cost of IVF ranges between $10,000 and $15,000 for each implantation of eggs. But luckily Mike and Kristen have insurance coverage and have been setting aside funds into a medical savings account. However, since they have a very limited time to undergo the procedure, it is so important they move forward with the process now. They’ve been told that with each month they wait their chance of conception declines. This is why I have started a campaign to help my daughter Kristen and son-in-law, Mike, make their dream of having a family a reality.
They have already started the process and on May 9th will complete the initial phase of the journey. This means that – if all goes well – there could be a baby on the way by end of May. However, gathering the additional funds needed for medication and costs not covered by insurance is a huge challenge, especially after putting over $9,000 towards the effort already. They need our help!
