IVF Journey To Baby Frazier
Dear friends and family,
I am posting this story on behalf of my sister and brother in law-because I am sure most of you know I am 1 of 4 girls and we grew very close !Courtney and Rob have struggled for a while with whether to share this deeply personal and intimate issue with you, our friends and family, because it is not in either of their natures to burden others with a request for financial help. With that said, I want to share a little of their story to provide some context for the help they are requesting from those whom they know and love.
After over a year of not being able to conceive naturally , Courtney and Robert grew concerned that something may be wrong . Both being very active and generally healthy individuals they did not understand what could be wrong. After many doctors appointments and testing, they have been advised that both male and female fertility issues exist . They were heart broken . Due to both complications it will be nearly impossible for them to ever conceive naturally . Their only option to ever have a child of their own is IVF and it needs to be decided upon sooner rather than later as their doctor stated waiting too long could cause other issues or complications .
As you may be aware, IVF is a very costly medical procedure that unfortunately is not covered completely by insurance .The initial cost of these procedures will range between $12,000 and $20,000 in out-of-pocket costs that need to be paid up-front prior to going forward with the procedure. The cost of this procedure is overwhelming and intimidating, but they could not be more excited for this next adventure and are eager to begin this journey.
