I am humbly asking for your support as I'm about to start a new chapter in my life: an interstate move for a new job, as a single person without a car or a place at my destination, with very limited resources.

Ever since a misguided law ended my 20-year successful freelance career in 2020 and I lost all my clients and income overnight, I have been trying very hard to find a new opportunity that will bring me financial stability, after years of struggles here in California. It is not easy to find a job at 60; I'm too old for most recruiters, but too young to retire. Three weeks ago, I applied for a position in my field, and have completed all the tests and interviews. Yesterday I was offered the position! Today I accepted it. The challenge? This is on-site, in Austin, Texas!

This is exciting, a new adventure, in a new environment. I don't have a partner or a car or savings, but I have determination. I want to believe this fresh start is possible... but only IF I'm able to raise funds to cover my moving cost from CA to TX. That's a very big IF, but I could not turn down this job offer. So now, I am asking:
