Journey@McPherson, a campus of Journey Mennonite church, is striving to worship fully, connect with others, grow in Christ, and serve with passion.
For the last two years Journey has been a mobile campus, meeting at the McPherson Middle School. This year we have taken a giant leap of faith in an effort to establish a permanent presence in the community. Our vision for Journey is for it's members to be SENT: to be missionaries where we live, work, and play. We pray that our 24/7 presence will provide a space that serves the community well. While watching our dreams for this campus spring into action, we have come across a huge need. Chairs.
We will need 225 worship center chairs to start off with, but we hope to have a total of 325 to fill the sanctuary as we grow our campus. These chairs will be useful for more than just Sunday mornings, they would be available for the community to use for large meetings, conferences, events and so forth. As a church we have each been asked to give sacrificially to this God-sized project, and we invite your help in purchasing these chairs.
You can help us save a seat for people we don't even know yet, by donating any way you can. For every $47 donated, we will be able to buy one more seat for whoever God brings to us. The more we raise, the more opportunities we'll have to serve the community, welcome people to Journey and ultimately point people toward Jesus.
