I, Aaron Beverly, am a professional golfer from Fairfield California. Upon graduating from California State University Sacramento in 2017, where I played Division 1 collegiate golf for five years, I turned pro to chase my dream of playing on the PGA Tour. Since turning professional I have had success on different development tours including, the Golden State Tour and Players Golf Tour. Recently I have had a breakthrough in my professional career, earning my tour card on the PGA Tour Canada-Mackenzie Tour. I earned 6 guaranteed starts for the beginning of the Mackenzie Tour season, which will be taking place in Vancouver, Victoria, Kelowna, Lethbridge, Windsor, and Caledon. My first tournament will be the Freedom 55 Financial Open May 23-26th.
Along with the experience of playing in PGA Tour sanctioned events comes a hefty pricetag for expenses related to my travel, entry fees, and caddying fees. While this breakthrough has given me a greater chance to achieve my lifelong goal of playing on the PGA Tour, I find myself challenged with being able to afford these expenses on my own.
My goal is to raise the funds to help with my travel and expenses for the 2019 season on the Mackenzie Tour. In order to play in each event I will be traveling throughout Canada. Based on my success in the first 6 tournaments, I can earn my way into the remaining 6 tournaments on the Mackenzie Tour. These tournaments start in May and carryout through September. At the end of the year, the top 5 players who have earned the most money receive an automatic exemption onto the Web.com Tour. My goal is to earn my way onto the Web.com Tour and eventually the PGA Tour.
Projected Expenses
-Airfare $6,000
-Hotel $4,000
-Rental Car $4,000
-Caddie fee $2,000
-Food and Misc Expenses $2,000
-Entry Fees $2,000
I will be sending weekly updates to all those who want to follow along in my journey on the Mackenzie Tour via emails and social media post. My golf game has never been better and now is my time to make my dream a reality. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your support and consideration of my quest to the PGA Tour.
