Carly's Recovery Update: Preparing for the Next Phase
Donation protected
Dear Friends and Supporters,
It has been six months since Carly’s accident, and we are thrilled to share that she has successfully completed the intensive part of her recovery. This milestone is a testament to her strength, resilience, and the unwavering support of our incredible community.
Carly is caring for herself and walking almost independently. She continues to need work with her cognitive and speech abilities.
As Carly moves forward, the next critical phase in her journey is preparing for lifelong independence. This will involve outpatient therapy every weekday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Brooks Rehabilitation Center in Jacksonville, FL. The program is expected to run for 8 to 12 weeks.
In order for Carly to participate in this program, her family will need to temporarily relocate to Jacksonville. This will allow them to transport and care for her during her therapy. To make this possible, we are looking to rent an AirBnB for at least three months, along with covering associated living expenses such as food and other necessities.
We humbly ask for your continued support during this crucial time. The costs associated with this next phase are significant, and we cannot do it alone. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a difference in helping Carly achieve her goal of independence.
Thank you for standing by Carly and our family throughout this journey. Your generosity and kindness have brought us this far, and with your help, we can ensure Carly receives the care she needs to continue her progress.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Carly’s Family
