Journey of a Lifetime: Help Launch Jimmy's Grad Europe Trip

Hey there!

My name is James Dougherty—though most friends call me Jimmy! I recently graduated from Grand Canyon University with a Bachelor's in Arts for Government/Prelaw with a minor in Sports & Entertainment Management. I am from Huntington Beach, CA, where I like to enjoy time working at the beach, playing basketball with friends, or spending time at the church praising the Lord I love!

From June 12th to July 15th, I have the incredible opportunity to celebrate this milestone—college graduation— with eight of my closest friends on a dream trip through Europe!! This once-in-a-lifetime adventure will take us through the beautiful countries of Spain, France, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Austria, Switzerland, and Italy. It's truly a dream come true and a way to celebrate all the hard work and blessings that brought me to this moment.

The Why?

I believe traveling the world and experiencing different cultures sparks personal growth and creativity. My goal is to reflect, explore, and gain a deeper understanding of life, not just from a screen or stories, but by seeing it all firsthand. I want to document the life-changing journey abroad and share it with my people, and meet new friends along the way— with a smile and an open heart!

I fully recognize that this is a luxury, not a necessity. It's expensive, and while I'm working hard—currently juggling three jobs—any support would mean the world. Contributions will go toward flights, hostels, backpacking gear, transportation, food, and activities. Even reading this far means so much!
