Andrew’s Journey back to New Zealand

For those who don’t know me my name is Lisa Popata, Andrew’s Mum Janice Mitchell is my first cousin.

On behalf of our family, I am writing this with great sadness. Last night (19/04/2022) our much loved Boy Andrew-Anaru-DADDY tragically passed away in a motorcycle accident in Blacktown, Sydney.

Daddy was travelling back to his home in Quakers Hills after a workout at the gym with his cousins.

Daddy with his cousin Dominic had set off from New Zealand to Australia to venture and seek new opportunities which was accomplished in the short time. Along with the rest of our family, he was scaffolding for our cousin Chris & Shanz’s company “Proscaff” which he did with so much passion.

Our boy was the most funniest, kind hearted, loving person you would have ever meet. His smile lit up any room he walked into, one you will never forget.

Anaru leaves behind a deeply grieving Mum, Dad, Grandparents, brothers, a sister, nieces and nephews who are desperately wanting him home.

We are asking for your kindness and gratitude if you are able to please donate to his fundraiser to help cover for funeral expenses and flights back to New Zealand.

His loving soul will be deeply missed.
