On October 12th I am running the Manchester Half Marathon in honor of my friend Gina Bryant, who was tragically killed at the hands of her abusive ex-boyfriend in Oct. of 2023. She was in her final year of a nursing program, where she would've obtained her second bachelor's degree. She was kind, gentle, and strong, and we refuse to let her story end here. I am running to raise awareness for domestic violence, to prevent other tragedies like this from happening. We will continue to shine her light in any possible way we can.
