Journalism Elective Funding 2024-25

Hi there, I'm Ms. Skidelsky, I teach the Journalism elective at Palms Middle School.

We have successfully secured funding to print The Palms Press on a monthly basis as a broadsheet newspaper from the Friends of Palms organization and our principal. All of our editions are distributed as well as posted on our school website.

The funds raised here will be used in two ways:

1. To celebrate the students in this elective-- they work hard, they deserve a PIZZA PARTY after putting together each edition!

2. To pay for the New York Times print subscription that students get to enjoy every day!
