On Friday, February 17, 2023, Josue Bonilla-Amaya went to Urgent Care. He was quickly referred to the Emergency Department due to suspicions of organ failure. In the Emergency Department, he was diagnosed with kidney failure and admitted to the Intensive Care Unit. Josue started 24/7 dialysis and continued receiving treatment for 3 days without solid food. On Monday, February 20, 2023, Josue transitioned to receiving dialysis three times weekly and began eating solid food. The future is uncertain for Josue's kidneys but all faith, hope, and trust are in our Lord and Savior. We are believing for a supernatural miracle in Jesus' name!
