As many of you may or may not know, our beloved colleague and friend, Horacio Prado, is facing some unexpected challenges. In times like these, it's crucial that we rally around each other as a community and offer our support.

“My name is Josue Prado, son of Horacio Prado. I was born on January 19, 2024. I was born with a condition in the heart called transposition of the great vessels. It is a congenital heart defect in which the position of the two major vessels that carry blood away from the heart, the aorta and the pulmonary artery is switched. Only one in every thousand children are both with this heart condition. It is a delicate condition since it requires multiple high-risk surgeries at 6 weeks after I was born. I have had 4 surgeries performed and thank God I have been able to survive them. It has been long and painful process, but God has given me the strength to excel because I want to go home with my Mommy and Daddy, and my sisters. Throughout my life, I will have to undergo multiple surgeries, this is the reason why I ask you for support since daddy and mommy must take care of me in the hospital and my little sisters at home. My family and I thank you for your support and I know God will multiply you and bless you.”
