Im raising money on behalf of my bestfriend Dustin and is girlfriend Alana for the loss of their baby girl Josie. They both have gone through alot of hardships in that last year and when everything was looking up, they lost everything.
July 17 2018 was a new beginning for both of them. They found out that they were pregnant with their beautiful baby girl josie. In their time of hardship this was a blessing. Almost too good for them to believe.
This was a new beginning for both of them and they were ready to start a family. They couldnt believe they were given a gift such as this in such a hard time. With all the struggles they were going though at the time, this little girl was going to make it all worth it.
Come March 5th 2019..
After a long, and im assuming, dramatic delivery, they were blessed with a beautiful baby girl. Weighing 7 lbs 11oz, exactly the same weight of her parents, Josie Monroe Smith blessed this world.
This precious little angel was exactly what they needed. They would spend hours admiring her and getting lost in the love they now have to share. She was perfect, full head of hair, chubby cheeks and the most perfect little fingers you wish you could just hold...
BUT...
This story doesn't end happy though...
Only with three weeks on this earth... We lost this little angel..
March 29th, they woke to a non responsive little girl. Even with all the effort that Dustin gave to save their little girl and the emergency crew doing what they could, there was no response. Dustin and Alana were NOT allowed to travel with the emergency response with their baby Josie to the hospital....
Appon arrival to the hospital they found Josie still under assessment and at 7:18 AM Josie was pronounced dead... The only information that they have been given was that Josie had a heart condition, and even with all of Dustins effort, she couldnt have been saved. They are still waiting on the autopsy reports.. But just the same...This gift from god was taken away....
They are both torn and lost as what to do.
My intent is to raise money for their funeral/celebration of life costs and to pay for the urn and memorial items. (jewellery for alana and an ash ink tattoo for dustin). Plus a little for hardship costs of living.
ANYTHING ABOVE THE GOAL WILL BE DONATED TO CHILDERNS HEART FOUNDATION!!!
