On May 22nd Josie took to Facebook and shared

"Friends and family:

I am not one to post my extremely close personal business on social media, but most of you have been along for the ride with me since I was diagnosed with my brain tumor almost 5 years ago. I am posting to update that it has reoccurred, unfortunately in a more aggressive form and I will be undergoing a second surgery on Tuesday June 1st at Northwestern Memorial. This will be followed by chemotherapy treatment. I will be staying in Chicago with family during this time.

I cannot explain how much I have appreciated all of the love and support I’ve received from each and every person here and I just felt like this may be the easiest way for me to share with everyone at this time. With that said I may be out of commission for a while and will do my absolute best to stay in contact with everyone as I can. I appreciate any and all prayers, and rest assured I will make a comeback  God is so good and I have every ounce of faith." 


As Josie prepares to take on her second fight at Brain Cancer, we want to make sure we can take as much stress off of her plate as we can so she can focus on her health and recovery. As many cannot begin to imagine going through Cancer one time in life, a 2nd time is definitely unimaginable .Which also brings on one of the biggest stress's,  Medical Bills.

With that said, we are asking you, Friends, Family, Facebook, Strangers, Acquaintances  to help us raise a goal of $5,000 to give to Josie towards her Medical Bills. There is no such thing as too little, everything helps more than you can begin to imagine, and is beyond appreciated. 

As her friends, we know the that the only thing Josie would ever ask for from anyone is a prayer. Her faith is what is giving her the strength and courage throughout this Journey.
