Hi, my name is Josie, and I’m 25 years old. I’m a childhood cancer survivor, and while I’m beyond grateful to still be here today, the journey didn’t end when the cancer did. Over the years, I’ve continued to face medical challenges that have taken both an emotional and financial toll on me.

Outside of everything I’ve been through, I’m someone who finds joy in the simple things—cooking and spending time with my family mean everything to me. They’re what keep me grounded and give me strength through the hardest moments.

Soon I will be going for surgery, and I have to pay $3,000 out of pocket just to move forward. This doesn’t include the additional costs for the equipment and care I’ll need during recovery, which makes this even more overwhelming.

My mom has always been my biggest supporter and has helped me more times than I can count throughout my journey. She’s carried so much of this burden already, and it breaks my heart knowing I can never thank her enough for all that she has done. But I can't continue to lay everything on her.

It’s really hard for me to ask for help like this, especially knowing so many people are struggling too—but right now, I truly can’t do this on my own.
