Josie Munoz Garza
December 5, 1955 - October 9, 2020
On Friday, October 9th, 2020, the world lost a wonderful woman by the name of Josie Munoz Garza. She was a sister, an aunt, a mother, a grandmother, a cousin, a friend. In our time of loss, we take solace in knowing that Josie has gained her wings. Her suffering in her Alzheimers is over, and while we miss her deeply, we all take great comfort in knowing she's at peace. As things can be with such a disease, her sudden passing came very unexpectedly. Unfortunately, no plans were made prior to her passing and no funds set aside to cover the necessary arrangements to put her physical body to rest. It came as a surprise to find out just how much it can cost to celebrate the life of a loved with services and the arrangements that follow. We're trying to find a way to give Josie the beautiful farewell that she deserves, but at this point we're coming up empty handed and through our grief, we don't even know where to start.
I'm asking for contributions to be made to help give my mother her "Good-Bye for now...". Every cent counts. Anything helps. Anything at all.
Thank you so much in advance for any donations made and thank you so much to anyone who has been here for my family and me during these hard times.
I'll be keeping updates on the services as we figure things out. If anyone would like to pay your respects, let us know and we'll be in touch once everything is set in motion.
