Josie Lyn, little heart warrior

So many friends and family have asked how best to help Chance and Crystal and  because of you, we have set up this GoFundMe to provide an opportunity to do just that!

Your prayers, kind words and encouragement have sustained them as they encounter life in the NICU and we all thank you from the bottom of our hearts.  Keep them coming, they feel the love. 

Josie's Story

On November 8th, 2018 Josie Lyn Bland entered the world and was immediately sent to the NICU due to pulmonary hypertension and a heart defect called Transitional AV Canal with a Large VSD.  Josie also has Trisomy 21; Down syndrome.  Josie was born at Baptist Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK but was transferred within 24 hours to OU Children’s Hospital. Our little heart warrior is under 24/7 care of angels on earth; the cardiac NICU team of doctors and nurses at OU Children’s Hospital.  Josie has a long road ahead with a prediction of at least 3 weeks stay in NICU and will have Open Heart Surgery.
