We are Jordan & Katie Parkin. Our baby boy, Josiah Banks Parkin, was born on Sept 5th, 2025, weighing in at 11 lbs. 4 oz., and 22 1/2" long. After a healthy pregnancy and long labor, we were faced with the decision to have an emergency C-section. This became the perfect storm to take a healthy Josiah to critical care upon birth. He was met with many complications that left him fighting for his life. As his name means "God heals," he has done just that. It is a true miracle that he survived the flight for life to Children's Hospital of Wisconsin. A team was waiting for him, and by miracle moments, their interventions gave Josiah a fighting chance. Josiah has touched so many lives in his short time here on earth. The power of prayer has moved mountains for Josiah. However, the medical needs are great. Healing and strength are on God's time. Together we can make a real difference for Josiah, one loving gift at a time.
