Josiah's Journey
Donation protected
As many of you know, Josiah has recently relapsed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia again. This is the third time he has been diagnosed with leukemia in the last seven years.
His first diagnosis was in 2009 at the age of seven. After three years of long hospital stays, chemo treatments, and missing out on many adventures of childhood, he was cancer free and beginning to enjoy being a kid again. Unfortunately, in November of 2013 we were informed that he had relapsed and the Leukemia had returned. We were in for another journey.
He once again was admitted into the hospital and went through very intense chemo. We had great news in December that a bone marrow donor had been found and he underwent a bone marrow transplant on Valentines Day 2014. Since then he has been feeling better and better and enjoying his time outside fishing, his passion.
About a week ago, he started not feeling well and was taken to the doctor. We again were delivered the devastating news that he had once again relapsed and the Leukemia had returned at the age of 14.
Josiah is now admitted at Motts Children's Hospital in Ann Arbor and has started yet another round of chemo.
This account was created to show support for the family and Josiah for travel expenses back and forth to the hospital, meals, and expenses that may come with treatments.
Please donate and support the family if you can during this very hard time. Any amount is appreciated and if you are unable to donate please pray for Josiah and our family.
