My son's name is Josiah H Rogers, he has always beat the odds. I was barren and not able to have children when I became pregnant with Josiah. When Josiah was an infant his father was killed by a Baltimore city Police officer. With his biological, spiritual and extended family God provided the dynasty Josiah and I needed. Josiah was able to accomplish his own self in the Move Forward Movement when he was diagnosed with dyslexia and ADHD. He refused to be defeated by a disorder. He loved to play sports.Josiah started playing football at a tender age until he was diagnosed with Chiari Malformation 1 and had to have surgery by Dr. Ben Carson on his brain. Josiah did not allow this to be a hindrance as he continued his Move Forward/ Not Going to Stop Me Movement and became one of the top athletes at Frederick Douglass Senior high school where he excelled in wrestling and football. He received a scholarship to ASA college for lacrosse. On July 15, 2021 God decided that Josiah's movement would now be in Heaven. Josiah has touched so so many lives in his 23 years in this world. He always looked out for others and put their needs before his own. In his transitioning Josiah continues to reach down from heaven and stand against the odds to comfort those who needs it with his memories.

Thank you for your donation this will go towards Josiah's Home Going Service. I will donate any unused funds to The Josiah Rogers Displaced Kids Fund to help inner city kids Move Forward.
