We are blessed that Joey is still with us. He is in much pain as his body has been through so much, and he has a long road to recovery and has to be in Anchorage for higher medical care. Joey suffers from severe frostbite. The worst pain is in his hands. They constantly burn from having the top layer of skin removed to hopefully salvage his hands.

His Mom and Dad are with Joey, and they will take turns not only supporting him but going back and forth, home to Selawik, to take care of the rest of the family.

This fundraiser is to support the family, while they are supporting Joey and his recovery in Anchorage. Any money raised will be used for lodging and food, and whatever Joey needs.

The family is very thankful for all the love, prayers, and financial support that people are sending and giving. They cannot thank you enough.

We continue to pray hard for Joey, we thank God for his return and we now pray hard for his body to continue healing.
