Josiah and Brooke's Mission Trip to Estonia

Hey everybody! Josiah and I have the opportunity to lead a team from Chi Alpha at the University of Michigan on a missions trip to Tallinn, Estonia, this May. This is our first time leading a missions team together, and we are so excited about this opportunity!

Estonia is a post-Christian nation in the Baltics. It has even been referred to as the least religious nation in our world today. You will find once thriving churches completely abandoned throughout the city. During our time in Tallinn, we will be serving alongside a team of AGWM missionaries (one of which is a former U of M Chi Alpha student!) who run a coffee shop in order to build relationships in their community and share the gospel through their lives. We will essentially be experiencing "a week in the life" of these missionaries. The goal of this trip is for our team to experience what it's like to be missionaries in a secular, post-Christian context (a lot like Ann Arbor!) and to make disciples through relationship building in a community.

We're praying that this trip encourages our students to live out missions in our context here at U of M and to live missionally for the rest of their lives, whether God calls them to be career missionaries or to be missionaries in a marketplace job.
