Josh Werp's Family Assistance Fund

Joshua Werp, a professional truck driver, was critically injured on the job in Anchorage, AK on Sept 25th. He was helping secure a load on flatbed trailer when an 800 pound crate fell on his face and upper torso, crushing him. He was medi-flighted to Seattle for more advanced treatment. He has already gone through some surgeries and will have many more to come, and may be there for several months more. To complicate matters, he has contracted pneumonia, and they are considering options for treatment, as his condition has now become life threatening.

His sister Jeannie, who also lives in Anchorage, flew down to help him through the recovery, she is having to leave her home, family and job to make all the decisions for him. We are asking you to help at least with her incidental expenses, as well as any shortfall with her household expenses due to her having to be off work. Also, other family members may need to fly in from out of state to lend support etc.

Anything you can give will surely help ease the stress of this situation. Josh is the kind of guy who will give you the shirt off his back, and now he and his family will need help.  As good friends of his, our hearts break for him and his family, who he cares so much for.  His Facebook feed is full of people who are wishing him a speedy recovery and who are praying for him.  This is a tangible way to help this amazing family and put our money where our mouths are!  I'm sure his family will be very appreciative.

Thanks in advance for your support!
