Joshua's Fearless Fight w/ Cancer

To friends and family, we need your help. My beloved sister, Jessica and my brother-inlaw Jason Videna, received the devastating news that their sweet little 4 year old boy, Joshua Alexander, has been diagnosed with a very aggressive form of leukemia (pre B acute lymphoblastic leukemia).
We are starting this GoFundMe page in hope to financially help Jason, Jessica, Joshua, and their other beautiful little boy Jacob (7), during this long uphill battle. Those of you who know Joshy, know that he is the sweetest, most loving and happiest little boy ever. He is always smiling, laughing, running, playing and giving hugs & kisses to everyone. His love doesn’t discriminate, He Loves Everyone!
On Sunday, May 26, 2019, what was supposed to be a typical urgent care visit for a mild fever and achy bones, turned into much much more. Joshua was given a CBC test in which shortly after the doctor had informed his parents that it was likely leukemia. They ordered Joshua to be admitted immediately to Kaiser Permanente Medical Center San Diego. With no time to waste, the next morning he had a bone marrow aspiration and a spinal tap. The next morning, Tuesday, May 28, 2019, the results had come back from the test taken, and our little Joshy was officially diagnosed with Leukemia. With no time to waste, let alone to even breath, his chemotherapy treatment started that afternoon. All of this coming just 5 days after Joshua was acting like his normal self, at preschool, playing with his friends.. Joshua’s life has literally been flipped upside down.
Everyone is extremely shocked and saddened by the news and asking what they can do to help. I know both Jessica and Jason are not ones to ask for help, so we are asking for them. As of now, Jessica is taking time off work to be right there by Joshua’s side, while Jason handles everything else at home.
The money raised on this account will help supplement their time off of work and also go towards their everyday needs such as food, gas, and helping give Joshua’s brother Jacob as much normalcy as they can.
