Joshua's Medical Care

I never thought we’d be here and that I’d be writing this.

My husband, Josh, and I got COVID around the same time in August 2021. While I recovered in a weeks time he steadily got worse. 9 days into his diagnosis I took him to the ER where he was diagnosed with COVID pneumonia. He was then admitted to the hospital. After 2 short days, Josh developed blood clots in his brain and suffered a stroke. Around this time his oxygen levels fell and he was placed on a ventilator in the ICU.

My Josh is a 33 year old, gym loving, talented, guitar picking ginger. We’ve been married for 5 years this past May and together for 7. He is my best friend and the love of my life. In a matter of 2 weeks my world has been turned upside down and I’m absolutely devastated to even be putting this together. While the odds seem like they are stacked against him, I’m hopeful that the Lord will heal him and he will come home.
