My name is Autumn Eagle Speaker and I have known Josh(ua) since we were teenagers, we went to high school and college together, we have been friends ever since. Josh is going through a challenging time, however he shows strength and determination to get healthier and stronger.
We created this fundraiser to help Joshua Fraser on his kidney disease search, and to provide financial assistance for costs related to the illness, travel for kidney search, for bills and large health expenses. Josh goes to dialysis three times a week, the cost of one of his medicines is 750.00 per month, which a portion is covered, but he is still required to make significant contributions to medications and supplies.
Dialysis is three times a week for three sessions of four hours. That’s 12 hours and doesn’t include transportation to and from dialysis. It costs time and money to be sick that and include travel, other doctor’s appointments, it takes time from his life.
Josh has always volunteered in our community, he sat on many boards and committees and was involved with initiatives to improve the life of others, to provide programming and services. Giving, caring, kind and engaging would describe him best.
KIDNEY TRANSPLANT – Please contact me us at [email redacted] if you know anyone might be interested in donating one of their kidneys, and if you know others we can coordinate with. It would take about a year to get there. We are all born with two kidneys, we only require one to live a healthy life. They use living donors and those who donated on their health cards.
GOFUNDME – We are looking for financial donations, any amount is great to help out. We set the amount for $20,000 but any amount will do.
PRIZE RAFFLES – We plan to do prize raffles, if you have an item you would like to donate contact us at [email redacted] or inbox myself or Joshua directly.
Josh has created social media to create and make content about his journey with kidney disease, we will continue engage you and keep you updated. He’s just getting started up, but you can follow him on social media as @joshuaskidney care. He will be sharing his journey going through Kidney Disease and his search for a donor.
