Help Joshuah Find Relief from Constant Pain
Hi, my name is Claudine, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my husband, Joshuah.
Josh has been diagnosed with Cervical Dystonia and a Functional Neurological Disorder, an injury that doctors believe is an unfortunate reaction, developed as a result of receiving the COVID-19 vaccine. For the past 4 years, he has lived in constant 24/7 pain, with difficulty to hold his head upright due to severe involuntary muscle contractions, spasms, and abnormal postures.
Simple everyday tasks have become difficult to do. He’s a vibrant, kind-hearted man whose life has been turned upside down. Watching him suffer with minimal relief has been heartbreaking.
We've pursued every possible treatment over the years available to us:
Massage therapy
Chiropractic care
Acupuncture / Chinese Medicine
Dry needling
Pharmaceuticals
Botox injections w. additional Stecco Facial Manipulation
These treatments are incredibly expensive and provide only temporary relief. We’re emotionally and financially exhausted—but we finally have a glimmer of hope.
A Chance at Recovery
We’ve been referred to two specialized clinics, Kaizen Wellness Centre in Revelstoke, that offers an intensive neurofeedback therapy program with a strong track record of success in treating neurological conditions like Josh’s. We are also working with a team of doctors from Prime Medical in Rossland which specialize in pain and regenerative medicine. These treatments will be ongoing throughout the year. The cost for the full program—including treatment, travel, and accommodations—is approximately $30,000 CAD, and we simply can’t do it alone.

Kaizen Wellness Centre is a multidisciplinary mental health clinic providing trauma-informed, evidence-informed care for individuals experiencing complex psychological and neurological conditions. The clinic offers integrative treatment approaches that may include psychotherapy, EMDR, neurofeedback, and neurostimulation interventions, delivered by a collaborative team that includes physicians and Registered Clinical Counsellors.
Kaizen Wellness Centre has a particular clinical interest in working with individuals experiencing Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) and other conditions involving dysregulation of the brain–body connection. Treatment plans are individualized following clinical assessment and developed collaboratively based on each client’s needs and goals.
Ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP) services are provided through Revelation Psychedelic Therapy, a sister organization that works in collaboration with Kaizen Wellness Centre. Revelation Psychedelic Therapy offers physician-supported ketamine-assisted psychotherapy within a structured therapeutic framework when clinically appropriate.
