Joshua's memorial bench
I found a notebook containing a few short thoughts from Josh that I was obviously meant to find after his passing.
One page listed the things he wanted to do and see, which I will make sure I do.
The second page is the reason for this fund.
In all our talks about what to do after he passed, he had never spoken about a memorial gift. Instead, he wrote to me about how much he wanted a memorial bench in the San Diego Safari Park.
I want to try to honor this wish.
The goal of this campaign is the amount it will take to see his final wish manifested.
The final page was this poem:
I know you are sad
I'm sad too
I wanted a much longer life
I love you.
He always had to have the final word, and I am eternally grateful that he got to have it.
