Support for the recovery of Joshua Vice
Donation protected
My cousin Josh Vice was the victim of a violent crime in Lafayette, LA on November 30, 2023. As Josh was walking home from a trip to the grocery store, an unknown assailant shot him in both legs then struck him with the gun handle in the face as he was trying to call 911 for help. The gunmen then left him for dead in front of his apartment complex.
The injuries to his legs and face along with the physical rehabilitation he will need to become mobile and return to work will be several weeks. During this time of recovery and his rehabilitation, Josh will be unable to work to provide for himself in the interim.
Josh has worked as a staging, lighting and equipment manager for the entertainment company Souled Out Entertainment in Lafayette, LA for the past two and a half years. Being a victim of a violent crime is heinous enough for anyone. Being physically unable to perform his job and return to his livelihood only victimizes him further.
Josh has a strong network of family to support him during his recovery. However his inability to earn a living during this time, the loss of income, the medical and physical therapy costs will be catastrophic for Josh.
Please help us to ease some of the burdens that this senseless of act of violence have bestowed on this young man. Josh is one of the hardest working people I’ve ever known. Any donation that you can make, big or small, would help to offset the expenses (rent, utilities, medical, rehabilitation etc.) would be appreciated!
Thank you!
