Dear family and friends,
On Thursday, June 6th, after an unexpected vehicle accident, the Velez family lost their brother Joshua Velez. At only 33 years old, Josh has been taken from our family too soon. Josh was also a father, nephew, cousin and a friend to many who loved him. Josh is a blessing and will always be remembered for his funny sarcasm, his smiles, his laugh, his hugs, his kindness, his love and most of all his presence as family. He would always want us to pick up the phone even if he had nothing to say at all but "guess what chicken butt". In this time of unexpected and devastating grief, we can only rely on the power of family and community to bring support, peace and healing to this beautiful family. In the happy times like in the challenging times, it truly takes a village, so we ask for your support, big or small, to help cover the unplanned memorial and funeral expenses.
