Joshua Rollan Cano, 26, of San Jose, CA, died September 17th, 2022, as a result of his long battle with Loeys-Dietz Syndrome. This debilitating disease is characterized by abnormal connective tissue, primarily in the aorta. Thoracic aortic aneurysms are common and eventually fatal.

He was born on November 3rd, 1995, in San Jose, and is the son of Guillermo Cano and Ruena Rollan. He attended Shirakawa Elementary School and graduated from Yerba Buena High School in 2013, where he formed a band with his closest friends. He also attended De Anza College; by 2017, he obtained an Associate of Arts in Psychology.

Joshua had a large following on multiple social media platforms on which he made new friends, shared his life battles, and strengthened bonds through gaming and streaming, which were some of his lifelong passions. In his 26 years of life, Joshua managed to: touch so many lives all over the world, travel, attend concerts, work, obtain a degree, party, love his nieces and nephews, survive seven open-heart surgeries and a stroke, form a band and become an amazing musician, and find love. Despite the overwhelming challenges he faced, he still had a passion to live life to the fullest.

Joshua is survived by his biological parents, Guillermo Cano and Ruena Rollan; his stepfather, James; and his brothers, Christian and Jesse. He also leaves his nephews and nieces, Evangelia, Alexander, Izabella, Elijah and Camila; his cousins, Rochelle, Angel, and Logan; his aunts, Becka and Melinda; and his best friends, Nick and Noel.
