Good ol Josh. I’ll be damned I knew something was wrong when I missed the call. When a soul like that leaves this earth, its felt. It’s not something you can just hear about. Well, the plan was to write a whole story about how Josh was always up to no good but hell, i couldn’t bring myself to make a sentence with words to tarnish his name because it would simply not be true. Joshua was a honest and hard working man who was always there for his son, like a father should be. Well on September 5th, Josh (but better know as Sideways) dropped off his little boy at school one last time. Little did he know itd be the last time. On September 5, 2023, Josh didn’t pick up Sebastion from school. On that day, each classmate that knew Josh stopped turning wrenches and it felt like time stopped. Josh’s absence is felt along every road. Dirt or Pavement in the state of Florida. I’ll be damned if I said he didn’t play a role in the man I am today. I only hope I can be half the father that man was. I write this in tears today because Josh didn’t come from wealth. However, if it’s one thing we learned in the classroom at Ridge Votech was how to raise money. Unfortunately, this time we’re not all using our part time money to buy pizza on Friday. This time we have to lay a brother to rest. We may not have the funds but we do have some drive behind us. Where there’s a will theres a way. Its up to us to make sure Josh gets a proper burial and we need your help. I appreciate you for taking time out of your day for reading this. I hope you can contribute financially, however times are tough nowadays. So even some kind words would do.
