Help Joshua get to Kenya with Camps International

Hi I’m Joshua Walker,

I’m hoping to go on a 4-week life changing expedition to Kenya.

I'll be doing a triathlon on Monday 26th May 2025 including a 10km run, 20km cycle and a 100 lengths swim to help raise funds towards this trip.

I'm hoping to not only experience the scorching weather, amazing wildlife and beautiful country but to also embrace the rich culture found in all corners of Kenya and hopefully help the communities we will be staying with.

I am hoping to build on a variety of values such as empathy, hard work and humility however I do not just want to take and build on personal things. A large reason for wanting to go is to help the local communities we will be living with in a multitude of different ways such as building schools, wells or even creating fun experiences for both older and younger members of the communities that will be hosting us and getting involved in conservation projects.

They are a social enterprise so not like a normal school trip but one that gives back to society and the planet with a purpose to offer something back to the place we visit rather than simply being a tourist.
