Help Joshua Faulk Fight Acute Myeloid Leukemia!
Donation protected
Hi, My name is Melissa and I'm a friend of the Faulk family. I'm starting this fundraiser to help the family offset medical costs and keep their homes running and their bodies nourished as they all fight this battle alongside Josh.
In early September, after bone-marrow testing, Josh and his family learned of his critical acute myeloid leukemia (AML) diagnoses. Immediately, Josh entered the hospital for treatment. They did a first round of extremely potent chemo which they had hoped could be followed by a bone marrow transplant. That chemo really hit Josh hard. As a marathon runner, and personal trainer at 9 Round, Josh has always been thin and athletically built with muscle (and a LOT of heart). He's lost weight, but is fighting hard! Josh's sees himself as a boxer in the ring, Jesus as his coach, and all of US as his fans cheering him on. The first round of chemo didn't go as well as they hoped, so he's still in the hospital starting round two as I type this. His little sister, Elizabeth (age 13) is also in the hospital, in ICU. Earlier this week she choked and suffered an aspiration. She is fighting hard, and winning, but needs our prayers and support too. You might be able to imagine their parents, Jamie, and Catherine...going from child to child, helping them fight for their lives!
This is going to be a journey, and I'm inviting you all to come along. ANY little amount will help. Sharing this page will help. Praying will help.
