My name is Kathie Hughes. I am coming to you to ask for help to pay for the cremation of our dearest friend and brother in all but blood, Joshua Early. Josh passed away suddenly on April 4th. He was the most amazing person you would ever want to meet and gave of himself to everyone he met. He was part of our family. Every holiday, every vacation, every important event, whether joyful or sorrowful, he was there. He was the uncle to my sons that always told them the truth and loved them no matter what. He was a lot of things to many people in the community.

Unfortunately, he passed away without a will. Because he has no blood family, it looks like the state is going to be able to take all of his worldly possessions. We have checked with all the lawyers he was dealing with, and although pressed by them to make a will he just never got it done. He is now at the funeral home and it is going to cost $3000 to have him cremated. We just don't have the money ourselves, but we are hoping that those that loved him can step up and help us get this done for Josh. We are also hoping to have a memorial for him in a few months, once we have helped his roommate Daniel get settled and we can arrange for people to know that it is happening so that we can get together and all celebrate the life he lived and the people he loved.
