Joshua A Reyes - Medical fund

Joshua Reyes is a gentleman and a loyal friend, a loving father and a caring husband. Most of us know Josh as a Head Stage Staff / black shirt for Royal Caribbean and everyone who knows Josh knows basically, what a great guy he is. Josh is always there to help you when you ask him (and even when you don’t!) Josh also use to be my Magic Assistant onboard Voyager of the Seas and was one of our all time favorite stage staff.  He's a joy to work with.

Well now it’s time for us to help Josh out… He has an Operation (for a procedure called Coiling) scheduled for February 24th and he needs OUR help!

Josh hasn’t been able to work for the past 2 years because he has been ill and on December 6, 2016 things took a turn for the worse. He was admitted into hospital to have his gall bladder and gallstones removed and unfortunately lost a lot of blood during the procedure and was confined to hospital for a few days.

On December 24 whilst Josh was still recovering from his surgery, Josh was again admitted into hospital because he had blacked out, had severe stomach cramps and low hemoglobin levels in his blood. Numerous medical tests were conducted including Blood tests, Endoscopy, CT Scans etc before being released from hospital on December 31.

Unfortunately, Josh was rushed to the ER on January 19 where Doctors performed a procedure called Coiling as Josh was bleeding internally due to complications from his original procedure. He was confined in hospital for another 15 days so that Specialists could continue performing more tests. As of today Josh’s medical bills have so far accumulated to the amount of PHP774, 000.00 / US$15,504.83 / AU$20,083.06 and he still has to come up with another US$2000.00 to be able to have his next coiling procedure on February 24, 2017.

Josh is a fighter and has remained positive throughout this stressful time, but he is only human and it’s starting to take its toll on him physically, emotionally and financially and his family as well. He just wants to complete this procedure, recover and move forward… Sounds like Josh right?

Well this is where we can really help, sadly Josh cant go back to work onboard Royal Caribbean International due to medical reasons and all this surgery has eaten away all of his hard earnt savings. I think you will all agree that if we can all pitch in (no amount is too small) we can help Josh with his next procedure, his recovery period and we can also try to help relieve some of the financial burden he and his family have also dealt with the past 2 years because he has been unable to work.  As he can no longer come back to work on the ships so he will be starting a new career as well when he's back on his feet. We can help Josh and his family move forward and look to the future.

We also ask to keep Josh in your prayers, please keep him and his family in your thoughts and send them lots of love and courage – Josh is always there for us, let us help him now!

Thank you so much for your time and your support for Josh.

Warm Regards,
John & Cherry Taylor
