Josh's Summer Internship 2 China

Hello Everyone!
Josh Stone here,
This combat veteran, father of two, and Masters Candidate at the University of California, Irvine, has been selected for an extraordinary internship opportunity this Summer from June till the end of September in Beijing, China.
When I left the military in 2011, I set out to prepare for a career in Diplomatic work. During my time in the military service and deployments abroad, I learned why the world needs a strong America. My role to make sure Americans get the best of what they deserve demands great expertise and an intimate understanding of global affairs: studying from afar just isn't enough, a public servant needs on the ground, real-world experience.
So, when CRCC Asia contacted me in October to let me know I had been accepted to their highly competitive Summer Program in Beijing, my family and I knew I had been given a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
Through this program, I'll get a much-needed clear-eyed view of the cultural landscape, a firm understanding of the language, and three months working in a Chinese company in Beijing. These experiences will add an unquestionable dimension to my credentials, distinguishing me from the many dedicated scholars seeking to climb America's diplomatic ladder.
Finally, the opportunity to pursue my craft and put my knowledge to work is here, but I need some help to do it. Unfortunately, this is an unpaid opportunity and the costs for the program aren't cheap, not to mention the living expenses abroad and here at home so my family has all their necessities taken care of while I'm away. So, I am reaching out to you to ask for any assistance you may be able to provide...
A Contribution from You Will Go To:
-Airfare
-Program Fees
-Visa Application
-Cost of living, including food, rent, and utilities.
Any assistance you can provide would truly help me get that much closer to my goals and ease the financial burden for my family while I'm away. Thank you at the very least for considering this opporunity. Now, let's get this guy to China!
