Our son, partner and brother, Josh, is a 31-year-old who had a hemorrhagic stroke in October of 2024. The event has left him fighting for his life and the ability to regain just the basic functions of being human, as he is still on a feeding tube and living in a skilled nursing facility. The stroke impacted the entire right hemisphere of his brain, and we had no idea if he would even awake from his coma.
Before the event, he was leading an independent life, had a great job in IT, and was everything that a parent would ever want from a child. He is an uncle, a son, an incredible partner, and a friend to so many. His company benefits helped a tremendous amount, but those only went so far. His portion of the medical bills is starting to add up quickly, and he has a very long road ahead. His current bills are well over the $60,000 mark and climbing each day. Anything to help him with these mounting debts would be greatly appreciated.
