Josh Myers is a father, husband, grandpa provider, friend, and so much more. He has always been the hardworking guy you could depend on and is always willing to step up and help. He has a big place in my heart as he has always treated me as his own child even though I am not biologically his. To get to know Josh a little more listen to the song “My Boy” by Elvie Shane.

However, he was diagnosed with an arteriovenous malformation (AVM) and an aneurysm back in early February. He has since not been cleared to work. Since this initial diagnosis, they have traveled to the University of Iowa Hospital on 5 separate occasions and he has had 2 strokes following surgeries. The last one being just a few days ago and resulted in no work for the foreseeable future. Josh has to go back down in late October for yet another angiogram.

This has been an emotional and financial struggle for the last 6months for my parents. They have been going through times of uncertainty about the future and struggles with how to keep up financially. They have growing medical bills, travel expenses, and the financial burdens of everyday life.
