Josh's Journey: Building Hope in Mexico
Donation protected
This summer, my son Josh will be spending 10 weeks in Ensenada, Mexico interning with YUGO ministries building 10 homes for underprivileged families. This will be his 4th trip to Ensenada, but the first where he will spend the whole summer working with other mission teams from churches across North America. Josh will learn about construction, how to effectively share his faith by demonstrating Jesus's love in a foreign culture, and how to be a valuable part of a ministry staff.
As a summer intern, Josh will participate in an intensive service program, as well as various outreach projects - from helping to build homes to playing with kids at a Vacation Bible School. He will also be a vital part of campus life by helping with various duties and responsibilities while living with other full time staff members, interns, and local youth. Josh will live in a community on the YUGO campus with other interns from The United States, Canada, and Mexico where he will be involved in Bible studies, Biblical training, devotionals, and worship services. He will also be receiving extensive on-the-job training in his field of service.
In order to take part in this opportunity, Josh needs to raise $3,000 to pay for his travel expenses to and from Ensenada and his cost of living over the summer. Thank you to everyone who can help sponsor this opportunity financially. God bless you.
