To Josh's many friends and family,
Anyone who knew Josh knew how important his family was to him. It was clear not only from his tattoos and the way he would hug you until you could barely breathe (even though most of us are not "huggers"- when it came to Josh, we were), but also from his constant encouragement and pride in the accomplishments of those he loved. Despite the battles he himself faced, he was always smiling, laughing, and playing pranks (especially on Jake). His mom, dad, and siblings and grandma meant the world to him.
Josh's words of encouragement and pride in his family will live on in our minds and hearts, along with his smile that lit up every room, even on his hardest days. We all find a little bit of comfort in knowing that he has been reunited with his grandmas and uncle and is likely embracing them in one of those crushing hugs right now.
Josh's family is still processing the shock of losing him to a long-fought battle with mental health and alcohol abuse this week and all the meanwhile, trying to plan a funeral that no one was prepared for.
If anyone is able to help alleviate some of the challenges they are facing by donating towards the costs of the funeral arrangements his family would be grateful.
-Donations can also be made to his mother's Cashapp account: $egerstacey or for cash donations, please reach out to Jake Eger.
