Josh's Cancer Treatment Fund

Recently, Josh was informed that he has terminal stage 4 lung cancer. This news has been very difficult not only to Josh, but for his wife, six year old daughter, two year old son, mother, father, mother-in-law, father-in-law, brother, sister, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, and extended family. In his time of need, we need to come together to support him mentally and financially. The purpose of this “go fund me” page is to raise money in which all proceeds will go directly to Josh and his immediate family.

Together the family is optimistic that medical treatment will allow him to overcome this terrible disease through the procedures, treatments, and tests which have to this point included many blood tests, pet scans, xrays, cat scans, scopes, er visits, dr. appointments, etc.  The current focus is chemotherapy along with geno-technology treatments (right now Altima, carboplatin, and keytruda) 

Estimated costs of stage four lung cancer varies, but is approximately $13,000 - $17,000 monthly.   A 6 month time period would equal just below $100,000.00.  In addition, there are expenses that accompany treatment such as travel with fuel and lodging and potentially air fare, medications, additional pet scans, xrays, cat scans, scopes, er visits, dr. appointments, etc.  The unknown is a potential threat to the family’s wellbeing and recovery such as potential loss of ability to work.
