UPDATE:

We are so thankful for everyone who has contributed.  We have learned that Josh will receive MediCal Insurance to help cover the cost of his surgeries; however, he will be paying out of pocket for medications for at least the next year,  which will cost around 400 dollars a month.  All proceeds from this fund will be used to help cover these costs and other expenses not covered by MediCal.  Thank you, again, for your support. 

Story: 
Josh Holmes suffered a massive heart attack on Saturday September 3. He is 36 years old, and the father of two boys.


The doctors performed an angioplasty and put in a stent in one artery that was 100% blocked. The two other arteries are at 40%.  

We  as his family are asking for contributions, in ANY amount, to help cover the cost of his medical expenses, and to help his family as they recover from this ordeal.

My name is Rachel and Josh is my cousin.  He is a year older than me and our birthdays are a few days apart. 

I have so many fond memories from when we were kids, of biking around on the trails where I grew up, exploring creeks, and fishing at Pine Mountain Lake during the summer.  We used to call him Nature Boy because you could usually find him outside, often looking at some kind of animal.
