Supporting Josh and Justine.
Written by Justine:
Early Friday morning I received the call from our friends at the gym that Josh had collapsed and was on route to hospital. Thank you Chris for telling me he was breathing even though he wasn't, I needed that. Nathan dropped everything and went with me to the hospital where until the very end of the speech from the dr. We both thought he was telling us he was dead... I don't know if I would have been able to function without him helping me through the day, calling family and close friends.
They put him in a coma and cooled his body for Friday and Saturday to help his body heal. Sunday they woke him up and he improved through the day and Monday.
Yesterday was the best, pretty much himself and just gets tired quick.
Above was written by Justine, Josh's love, life long partner, best friend +++
A post I borrowed from Josh now:
Heart attack, siezures, 8 diffibulator attempts, 4 broken ribs, destroyed tounge, 65 sticky marks from electrode stickies, 12 intervenes holes, one intervenes line in, 2 trachea line ins to throat, 7 stomach injections, clinically dead for 2 days, cooling, brought back to temp and then revived and yet you couldn't kick the smile off my face. Why? One person in particular, Justine !!
Many others, also, but you guys haven't seen the lengths and emotional depths this woman has been taking to hold it all together. My best friend and my lifelong companion is the reason I will only become even more positive and kick bigger ass I love you babe and this only leads to growth! Couldn't be more proud of you!

There love isn't all that its going to take to get through this crazy spin in life and the next while and add christmas time on top. To help ease some pressure from bills, gas from Justines contstant travelling to be with Josh and keep things running at the farm, food on the go, anything extra from the hosptal, or to help with some christmas gifts since income coming in is obviously minimal right now, or ANYTHING at all to ease pressure off of them both during the next and last of MANY surgeries this man has endured over the years and during his recovery time.
For those of us who wish we could help, here is a way, even a little from friends and family will add up!
This guy is one of a kind in many ways and many people have been touched by his friendship and as I feel, lucky to call him a friend! :)
So many of us are thankful for him and so very thankful that his path in life brought him to Justine who is the love of his life :)
They both deserve such happiness!
As much as they may feel akward with this gesture, I'm hoping they can overlook it to let us show them our support and love.
I know the cost associated with running the farm basically runs on the income that they bring in with the boarding and dog training, programs which had to end prematurely because of Josh's heart attack.
Currently they are housing 5 rescue dogs, sanctuary livestock, 3 excotic birds! All which cost approx $500/month in food to feed then vet bills on top for the rescue dogs. (7 personal dogs on top of the crew)
Josh cannot do any type of work or help Justine until Jan.20, this is the time frame due to allowing the re fusing of the ribs do to the triple bypass surgery.
As you can see there is a heavy burden for them right now, so some explanation to what they are facing on top of all above.
Let's support Josh & Justine!
HONESTLY! Thanks friends!!!
