Josh Wood Medical Fund

Hi everyone! This is a fundraiser for Josh Wood. He's a father of two lovely girls and a loving husband to his wife, Holly.

This last Monday, 1/30, he started showing signs of influenza and strep throat. He had a horrible sore throat, high fever, and was bedridden. Around 3am on Friday, 2/3, he had difficulty breathing. He was carried by ambulance to Ridgeview Medical Center in Waconia, where he is currently is in the ICU. He was diagnosed with Strep, pneumonia, infection in his airway, and an infected gland that is leaking into his lungs and around his heart. He is currently on a c-pap machine to help keep his O2 up. He will need to be put on a ventilator if he gets worse. We thank God that he is stable, but have no idea when he can return home.

Josh is the primary breadwinner of the family, but here's the kicker: he doesn't have health insurance. Coverage for the entire family was too expensive. It's a sad, familiar story that seems to be played out over and over in this day and age. The cost of healthcare gets higher while good people suffer. So, Josh gave up his own insurance so he could continue to financially support his wife and daughters.

We're asking friends, family, or compassionate strangers to give whatever they can to this fund. Everything will be used towards any bills that Josh accrues from his stay at the hospital. Anything at all will help but if you can't give financially then please include Josh and his family in your prayers. Our God is a God of miracles and this same God listens to those who cry out to Him. Please intercede for them spiritually, if not financially.
