Josh Skinner's TBI Recovery
Donation protected

Dear Friends and Family,
Josh and Amy Skinner are going through a challenging time right now. On September 18th, Josh fell and subsequent suffered a traumatic brain injury. Josh has a long road to recovery ahead of him and Amy has been with him since he was admitted on Sept. 20. At this point in time, it is unknown when Josh will be able to leave the hospital, complete rehab, and return home or when Amy will be able to return to work. With that all being said, we want to ensure that both of them can focus on his recovery without the added stress of financial burdens.
If you're able to help, your thoughts, prayers, and any financial support would mean the world to them. Thank you for keeping them in your hearts during this difficult time.
Update from Amy 10/06/2024
Thank you so much for all the love, support, and kindness you've shown us during this incredibly difficult time. The outpouring of prayers, calls, texts, and donations has been overwhelming, and it’s truly been a light for us. It has made it easier for us to focus on Josh’s recovery.
Physically, Josh is healing well and looking better each day, but he still has a long way to go. We’re unsure of the full extent of his recovery timeline or when he’ll be able to return to work. Many of you have asked what we need, and we humbly ask for continued prayers for him and for us during this time.
As for practical needs, a meal train will be helpful once Josh is back home. Additionally, if you feel moved to help, donations are deeply appreciated. A close friend has started a GoFundMe, and for those who have inquired, we also have Venmo available. Please understand that we don’t expect anyone to “bankroll” us, but it is currently what we need as we navigate these challenges.
While we are grateful for all your calls and texts, our focus right now is on Josh's recovery, and he isn’t able to have visitors at this time. Your continued prayers and support mean the world to us. Thank you again for everything!
