Josh Schuebel Cancer Treatment

After some alarming symptoms last month Josh went to the doctor to get checked out. A doctor’s visit and bloodwork turned into an ER visit and overnight stay that included a blood transfusion. After a couple of scopes they thought they had found a bleeding ulcer. After the biopsy came back inconclusive from Mayo Clinic his GI specialists issued a cat scan where they discovered a mass. He then issued an endoscopic ultrasound last Monday where they confirmed that it was a cancerous tumor causing his issues. As of June 10th, he has been diagnosed with Pancreatic Adenocarcinoma. He has an additional scan scheduled for Tuesday June 16th to make sure it has not spread anywhere else in his body. He also has a whipple surgery scheduled for the 18th and 6 months of chemo to follow. This is just the start of his treatment, so we will update as we know more. This has left us numb, shocked and terrified but God has a plan and we are trusting it. As you can imagine this has been tough news especially for Josh and the support and prayers mean the world right now.
