On December 13, Josh was riding his motorcycle home from work when he was hit by a full-size pickup truck. He was rushed to a local hospital where doctors spent the night getting him stabilized. The following day he spent all day in surgery, undergoing multiple emergency procedures. Although the plan was that he would recover in ICU before going back in for more surgeries, during recovery he was moved to the cardiac unit due to complications that began to arise with his heart.

The doctors have said that Josh won’t be able to return to work for at least a year. What returning to his current position is unknown. Josh will be out of work without an income to pay his month-to-month expenses.

If you know Josh, you know he will hate every part of accepting any help—but, for a while, he’s going to need it.
